Painting is my passion. As far back as age 9, I knew Art was my "IT". I am grateful my parents empowered my creativity and allowed me to take art lessons at New York’s Brooklyn Museum during high school years. I acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Philadelphia College of Art now known as UVA Philadelphia.  As a former Designer/ Merchandiser for 3 iconic denim brands, creativity has always been in the forefront. My artwork centers around depicting everyday life at times focusing music and the gathering of people for such occasions. Working with layers of watercolor pigment and at times mixed media I intend to invoke an emotion or sense of belonging, accomplishment, pride, and JOY.  The layers of color provide an undeniable series of atmospheres that can serve symbolically for emotional, personal, and social spaces. Personally, evolving artistically and encouraging emerging artists of all ages to follow their natural talent are my priorities.
