My Beauty, My Complication

My Beauty My Complication is a colorful surrealistic abstract depicting the unrealistic views and attitudes towards women by the multibillion-dollar beauty industry and societies vacillating hypocritical attitudes towards what constitutes beauty. The painting  shows a slow rolling machine moving over dunes of cosmetic foundation  creating a woman with an odd bright yellow skin tone, an abnormally long leg being manufactured out of it, and extremely long lashes being created in the form of a harp with an all seeing eyeball on top. The blurred blend of colors in the background are the cosmetics and other chemicals needed to maintain beauty.
