Cultural creative exploring my Afro-Latina heritage through creative processes

I am an Afro-Latina multidisciplinary artist, writer, and cultural storyteller originally from Harlem, New York, now based in High Point, North Carolina. My work explores African American and Puerto Rican heritage through acrylic painting, mixed media collage, symbolic figurative work, and narrative world building.

As the founder of Greenview Art Studio (GAS), I create artwork that blends cultural memory, spirituality, jazz noir aesthetics, ancestral symbolism, and emotional transformation. My artistic practice is deeply inspired by music, community, folklore, everyday life, and the hidden emotional landscapes that shape our identities.

Much of my work centers on themes of resilience, transcendence, memory, and reinvention — exploring not only where we come from, but who we become beyond inherited struggle. I am especially interested in creating work that uplifts underrepresented voices while embracing beauty, mystery, humor, and human connection.

In addition to painting and writing, I am developing creative community initiatives focused on supporting artists, cultural preservation, and accessible artistic growth. My studio practice also includes photography, conceptual storytelling, and ongoing explorations of Afro-Caribbean and metaphysical themes.
