Out of the Box

TAG is excited to announce a summer long exhibit for the community. Out of the Box is an exploration into the limitless creative possibilities of cardboard as a medium for artmaking. See Greensboro artist John Gibbs create his stunning, representational sculptures during a special artist residency in our Doris P. Deal Gallery. At the same time, immerse yourself in the creative worlds of Durham artist and puppeteer Jeghetto, who uses cardboard and unexpected reclaimed materials to build monumental sculptures and intricate marionettes in a contemporary style. We invite the entire community to join us in creating cardboard art all summer long thanks to generous support from the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro!
