SummerSounds is the High Point Arts Council’s 2026 outdoor concert series, featuring free live music in the evening from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Held in parks across High Point, Jamestown, and at the Centennial Station Arts Center, this season offers a vibrant mix of reggae, big band, Latin, and jazz.
Gavin Maestro is a Greensboro, NC–based, award-winning producer whose work has reached audiences far beyond the Triad. A two-time Grammy winner for his contributions to Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé, Gavin has built an impressive résumé spanning artists like Keyshia Cole, Cam Anthony, Chris Blue, Leikeli47, and James Davis. His production work also extends to film and television, with music featured in series such as BMF, The Chi, and Raising Kanan. Known for crafting sound that adds emotional depth and atmosphere, Gavin Maestro delivers music with intention, energy, and a commitment to excellence that resonates with every audience.
Concertgoers should bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food trucks will be on site with food and beverages; however, outside alcohol is not permitted. Attendees are invited to donate non-perishable food and household items to support A Simple Gesture, helping residents of Guilford County in need. The SummerSounds Concert Series is presented by the High Point Arts Council in partnership with High Point Parks & Recreation and Town of Jamestown’s Music in the Park, with support from sponsors including the City of High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina Arts Council, Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and the High Point Arts Council Arts Fund Donors.
