The SummerSounds Concert Series, presented by the High Point Arts Council, returns for the 2026 season to provide free live music in the evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. These accessible performances take place across the City of High Point, the Town of Jamestown, and the Centennial Station Arts Center, showcasing a vibrant lineup of reggae, big band, Latin, and jazz.

A premier highlight of the series is the Yacht Rock Radio Band, a nationally touring sensation delivering the ultimate tribute to the golden era of smooth rock. Led by American Idol standout Carsen Webb and the electrifying Melody Hagar, the band recreates the iconic hits of Toto, Christopher Cross, The Doobie Brothers, and Hall & Oates with impeccable musicianship and soaring harmonies. Their high-energy performance at the High Point Lawn Jam promises a nostalgic celebration filled with smooth grooves and sing-along favorites.

Concertgoers should bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax under the evening sky. While various food trucks will be on-site with refreshments, please remember that outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. In the spirit of community support, guests are invited to bring non-perishable food or household items for A Simple Gesture to assist Guilford County residents in need.
