from 10:00am-3:00pm
with a 1-hour break for lunch

In this one-day workshop Deveta will be introducing you to coiled basket weaving along with the rich history behind this ancient craft that allows for immense creativity.

Technically, coiled baskets are made by wrapping (i.e. coiling) a flexible material around a core, and sewing them together to form a structure.

Plus you can use a variety of mediums from pine needles, fabric, yarn to wire. We will be using primarily yarn for our basket.

This workshop is beginner friendly and unbelievably relaxing once you get the hang of it!
