Description

ArtStock Studio Tour 2025 begins Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Center for Visual Arts in the Cultural Arts Center. This year’s tour will include two days of open studios and pop-up galleries featuring the talents of 60+ artists.

New this year ArtStock two additional downtown galleries and Popup’s including our extension into High Point with Studio 136. All studios are open from 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-5th.

Thursday’s Gallery Opening, 6-9 pm, will feature pieces from all our artists. Attendees to the opening can meet many of the artists, enjoy a beverage from a cash bar, and purchase displayed pieces. Detailed maps of the ArtStock Studio Tour locations will be available throughout the event. Volunteers will be on hand to answers questions and guide visitors to specific locations.

The real fun begins when the artists open their studios to the public for the weekend. Many artists will feature their work in select locations including Artmongerz, The 205 Collaborative, Studio 136 (High Point) Studio 503, The Marshall Muse Gallery and the Scout Hut. Other artists will open their personal studios to the public including Susanne Baker, John Gibbs, Linda Spitzen, Robertus Van der Wege.

The pop-up galleries include Bitters Social Club, Chandlers Coffee, Proxy Gallery and The Blandwood Carriage House.

“We’re encouraging people to start their tour at Center for Visual Arts Gallery to see the art and decide which studios they wish to visit. By opening their personal studios for the weekend, you can see how the artists’ creativity begins,” said Terry Wessling, ArtStock’s director.
