Hairspray - Summer Film Festival

The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro has been a staple of the community, offering films of all different genres and engaging events for all. The 2025 Summer Film Festival continues the tradition of celebrating cinema and pop culture in an interactive and memorable way.

In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad lands a spot on a popular TV show and becomes an unexpected hero in the fight for racial integration. Full of catchy songs, big hair, and even bigger heart, Hairspray is a joyous celebration of inclusivity, rhythm, and rebellion.
