I am the founder of Greensboro Arts Hub. I started it to provide our local arts community a centralized online home — somewhere artists could be discovered and audiences could find what’s happening. In 2025, I formed a nonprofit to operate Greensboro Arts Hub so that it could have greater community involvement and a more sustainable future. I also serve on the board of directors of the organization.

I was a theatre major at Western Carolina University, where I learned how rewarding artistic pursuits can be and how much craft and care go into what an audience experiences.

For decades I’ve built websites and web applications — for nonprofits, political campaigns, citizen journalism projects, and small and medium businesses. Currently I’m operating a non-partisan campaign management platform for political organizers.

Although I work in technology, I am critical of it in many ways. A large part of the modern internet has been hijacked by big platforms that direct our attention for their own profit, often at the expense of our individual well-being. I think the antidote is more purposeful and self-directed online experiences and plenty of time away from our devices. 

Outside of work, you’ll likely find me on one of the area trails. I’m an introvert who genuinely likes people, an animal lover, and someone who believes the best of life happens off screen.
